SHAKLEE'S SUPPORT OF NATURAL DISASTER RELIEF AND OTHER
CHARITABLE EFFORTS IN 2005 TOP NEARLY $3 MILLION, A 2000+
PERCENTAGE INCREASE OVER 2004 LEVELS

International Direct Seller's Relief Efforts, In Partnership With
Non–Profit Shaklee Cares® To Continue In 2006

PLEASANTON, CA - December 14, 2005 – As 2005 draws to a close, Shaklee Corporation today announced that its annual giving efforts have topped nearly $3 million (an increase of more than 2000% over 2004 levels). This figure reflects both financial and product donations. The increase has been attributed to the ongoing support of natural disaster relief efforts, which to date have assisted victims of hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma, the earthquake in Pakistan and those affected by the South Asia tsunami. These relief efforts will continue into 2006.

"One of our primary goals at Shaklee is to make a direct impact on peoples' lives, and I am very proud of the tremendous contribution of both time and financial assistance made by our wonderful Distributors and employees during the past year," said Roger Barnett, Chairman and CEO of Shaklee Corporation. "Everyone has been touched in some way by the recent natural disasters. It is especially gratifying to hear from those we helped how much the Shaklee family efforts have meant to them during this difficult period in their lives."

Ongoing Aid to Victims of U.S. Hurricanes
In 2005, Shaklee quickly responded to help those in areas hardest hit by hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma with cash and product donations of nearly $500,000. Working with Shaklee Cares, its non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and a number of non-profit partners including Feed the Children®, Shaklee coordinated and shipped over 90,000 pounds of product to key distribution centers. These centers were located throughout affected areas in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas. Cash donations and grants were also collected and distributed, with Shaklee Corporation pledging to match the first $100,000 received. Finally, in an effort to ensure that 100% of all donated funds were applied directly to the relief effort, Shaklee Corporation committed to underwrite all of Shaklee Cares' administrative costs and services.

One of the most popular products requested by relief agencies was one of the first produced by the company 50 years ago, the environmentally safe Basic H® Concentrated Organic Cleaner. This product has been heavily used by Feed the Children in both hurricane and South Asia tsunami clean–up efforts.

Pakistan Earthquake Relief
Shaklee has also focused on Pakistani earthquake relief. Over 194,607 units of product have been collected and shipped to date. Vitamin Angel Alliance has been selected to be the in–country partner for Shaklee, to assist in local distribution. All Pakistani relief efforts will continue into 2006.

Assistance For South Asian Tsunami
Shaklee, working alongside Shaklee Cares, first focused on disaster relief with the arrival of the devastating tsunami in South Asia. Through its in–country partner Feed the Children, Shaklee was able to provide over half a million dollars in product donations.
